We also carry out deep fire retardant impregnation services for veneers, facing boards for LVL plywood production, etc. After impregnation, the veneer undergoes a drying process in an innovative dryer to the moisture content required by the manufacturer.

What is an EPD®? It is a document that provides relevant, VERIFIED information on the environmental impact of a product, developed in accordance with European and international standards.
As Burnblock® fire retardant is EPD® certified, it will be much easier for manufacturers of other products to obtain this certification for their end products.
Both OldenWood and Burnblock ApS are proud of this important milestone for the patented Burnblock® fire retardant formulation, which transparently provides important information about the environmental performance of our original fire retardant solutions.
Burnblock® is now VOC EMISSION FREE
Burnblock® produces no measurable VOC emissions.
Burnblock® flame retardant has passed the VOC emission test EN 16516 and meets the emission requirements for German AgBB, French VOC, Italian CAM and Belgian VOC.
We are pleased to provide our customers and trading partners with documentation on Burnblock® fire retardant treated wood for interior applications. VOC emissions from Burnblock® were undetectable after 28 days of testing.
What is VOC? Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) from materials treated with other fire retardant treatments can emit gases into indoor air.
There is a demand for low emission products as new and refurbished buildings are more airtight than in the past and that is also why more European regulations are being introduced to set standards for greenhouse gas emissions.
